Bachata World Council

By purchasing a ticket and attending any Bachata World Council event or festival, all participants agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions:

1. General Venue Rules

1.1 All attendees must comply with all venue rules and regulations at all times.

1.2 Official Bachata World Council wristbands must be worn at all times to access any workshops, socials, or parties.

2. Media Consent (GDPR/Privacy Notice)

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed or recorded during the event. Such content may be used for promotional or marketing purposes for current and future Bachata World Council events.

If you prefer not to appear in promotional material, please inform an organizer upon arrival and complete the opt-out form.

3. Footwear Policy

Only dance shoes or soft-sole sneakers are allowed inside workshop and social dance areas to ensure safety and protect dance floors.

4. Compliance With Local Laws & Regulations

Participants must adhere to all local laws, as well as any additional rules or guidelines set by the Organizer or venue.

5. Lost or Unattended Items

The Bachata World Council is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or unattended items within the venue.

6. Security & Bag Checks

Security personnel may conduct bag checks at any time.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless explicitly authorized by the Organizer or venue.

7. Ticket Policy

All ticket purchases are non-transferable and non-refundable.

In the event of a full event cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, all tickets will be refunded.

8. Wristband Policy

Wristbands must be worn at all times.

Failure to wear your wristband may result in denied entry.

Lost wristbands can only be replaced by purchasing a new one at the full festival pass price.

9. Right to Refuse Entry

The Bachata World Council reserves the right to refuse or revoke entry to any individual whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive.

10. Smoking & Zero-Tolerance Drug Policy

Smoking is allowed only in designated areas.

A strict zero-tolerance policy applies to illegal drugs.

Possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances will result in immediate removal without refund and may result in legal action.

Security may conduct enhanced searches when necessary; refusal to comply will lead to removal from the event.

11. Photography & Videography Restrictions

Use of professional photography or videography equipment—including DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, stabilizers, external lights, or similar gear—is prohibited without prior written permission from the Bachata World Council.

12. Official Media Team

The official media team has exclusive authorization to capture content at the event.

Participants must not obstruct or interfere with their work.

If asked to move or stop recording, attendees must comply immediately.

Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.

13. Violence & Misconduct

Any violent, threatening, or abusive behavior will be reported to security and may result in removal and contact with local authorities.

14. Conflict Resolution

Any conflicts among attendees will be resolved at the sole discretion of the Bachata World Council, in a manner consistent with the spirit and values of the event.

15. Property Damage

Anyone responsible for damaging festival or venue property will be required to cover repair or replacement costs in accordance with local law.

16. Workshop Capacity

To ensure safety and quality, the Bachata World Council reserves the right to limit attendance and control capacity for each workshop.

17. Artist No-Show Policy

While every effort is made to ensure full participation of all announced artists, the Bachata World Council is not responsible for artist no-shows.

No refunds will be issued due to artist absence.
